Step into the magic of the season as we begin our festive journey at Oak Park Mall, where the sparkle of holiday décor and the bustle of Christmas shopping will surround you with cheer. Whether you’re picking up the perfect gift or simply soaking in the atmosphere, this stop is sure to put you in the holiday spirit.
Next, we’ll gather for a delicious family-style dinner at Buca di Beppo, where the warmth of Italian hospitality meets the joy of shared holiday moments. Indulge in crisp salads, heaping platters of classic Italian favorites, sweet desserts, and refreshing beverages—with a cash bar available for those who’d like to toast the season.
After dinner, the holiday magic continues as we take a scenic drive through Kansas City’s world-famous Plaza Christmas Lights. Twinkling displays illuminate the night sky, creating a breathtaking winter wonderland, followed by a visit to the majestic Mayor’s Christmas Tree at Crown Center—a glowing symbol of community and holiday spirit.
The evening crescendos at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, Helzberg Hall, where the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra’s presents “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” This heartwarming adaptation of the classic TV special, brought to life with live music, is the perfect finale to a day filled with holiday joy, laughter, and togetherness.
